About this Course
A patient's cancer experience does not end with treatment. As more people survive and thrive, many will also deal with post-cancer physical and psychological effects. This unique training aims to support family physicians and other primary care practitioners to provide after cancer care to their patients.
Learning Objectives
After completing this online learning module, you will be able to:
Discuss some of the considerations to take into account managing a patient after a cancer diagnosis and treatment, including chronic cancer.
Describe the surveillance protocols for common pediatric, haematological and visceral cancers
Recognize some of the non-physiologic manifestations of cancer aftercare and discuss strategies for effectively managing them.
